I have purchased GRT servos to install in my Murphy Rebel (just because I can). These will be driven by my GRT Sport. I am a little concerned about the apparent drag from the servos. The Murphy is not what I would call "trim stable" In other words it does not eagerly try to return to a trimmed airspeed. Just the nature of the beast, I suppose. When I install the pitch servo I am worried that this condition will get even worse because of the extra friction in the control system. So my question to other users is, Have you found this to be a problem when flying your aircraft with the autopilot off? Management at GRT says that the servos will "loosen up" over time, but hey, I am already 73.
