Re: Display of GPS approach type
Not trying to be a pest I promise! Attached is the screen from a friend's Advance screen. His GPS is a 650. It appears to have the LPV label on the screen during the approach he was flying. This would be a nice feature if at all feasible.

deselect autopilot servos
As discussed with tech support, I would like to be able to disable the automatic engagement of GRT autopilot servos on the roll/pitch mode menu page. This would allow unfettered use of the flight director bars without engaging the servos. I would like the autopilot servos to only engage with the ...

Display of GPS approach type
While giving an IPC on a certified Garmin equiped aircraft, I noticed a great feature. On the CDI for a GPS approach it showed on the EFIS the type of appoach, ie LPV, or LP +V, or LNAV, whatever. I know my GPS of course has this information but having it right on the EFIS during the approach was ...

Re: Trim display from TruTrak
Thanks Jeff. Sounds a bit above my pay grade. Will probably switch to GRT servos and run off the HX.

Trim display from TruTrak
My TruTrak Digiflight II display is blanking out. I only use it for the pitch trim out of trim display indication. Can I take the Pitch Servo Trim Sensor input from the pitch servo to the control head (Pin 5) and add it to an aux input on my HX display? In other words can I display the trim required ...

You didn't say what the significant discount might be.

Re: dual adaptive failure mode
Thank you, that is very helpful. I do have both AHRSs wired to both displays. I now better understand the significance of the "dual ahrs" display.

dual adaptive failure mode
I have dual adaptive AHRS feeding dual Horizon HX. AHRS 1 feeds the left HX (normally PFD) and AHRS 2 feeds the right HX. Yesterday the left PFD was off in pitch. I was VFR so no flight issue, but I realize I know very little about the failure modes of this dual AHARS.
