AHRS-1 MAGNETIC HEADING LOST ERROR

Post by VELOCITY-XLRG »

Good Day Jeff and All,

I was just completing backshell installation on my installation that was working well and after connecting all, received this error that I have never seen before.

Can you advise any trouble shooting steps on this one... wires "look" intact...

Photos of both my HXR-1 and HXR-2 attached below:

Thanks, I would like to troubleshoot tomorrow as am off for the holidays...

This means the AHRS is not receiving data from the magnetometer and the system always expects the AHRS to have a magnetometer connected. The Adaptive AHRS has a magnetometer power output, ground, and a serial input for the digital magnetometer. See pins 22, 14, and 8 on the AHRS connector and 5, 1, and 9 on the magnetometer connector.

Thanks Jeff,

Issue found (Pin #8 on AHRS was broken off in the connector) and not noticeable... amazing how accurate this GRT system is... IT knew exactly what was going on, it was the operator (me) that did not! LOL.

Re-pinned and working beautifully... thanks again for the quick support!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
