After 1,000 hours with 3 HXs, I swapped one out for a larger screen HXr. Very Nice Upgrade!
After 100+ hours on the HXr, I've found the RH knob or altitude setting knob is overly sensitive to being pressed to confirm altitude and climb rate/speed. Over sensitive in the sense that one press often results in 2 actual button presses. It's difficult to consistently get a single button press even in calm air.
Do others have this problem?
Should I have this box serviced with a new knob?

Re: The altitude setting knob is overly sensitive to pressin
It's probably a bad button inside the knob. I test for that on the bench by going into the SET MENU and pushing the knob, MAIN, knob, MAIN, and so on. It's easy to see when it has double-pressed there, which shouldn't happen with normal pushing.
